What makes us different to other Horse Riding places?

We just received this question on our Facebook page – so I thought I would post my answer here! The lovely lady who asked was concerned about coming across as rude, but we welcome these types of questions as it gives us a chance to explain what makes us so awesome!

Here’s why we’re unique:

The biggest and most regularly commented on difference is the quality of our horses – our horses are well trained, responsive to their rider and happy in their job. The other big difference is our trail rides themselves. We have a maximum of six riders per group – so each group is small and personalised to those who are riding. This makes it much easier to work with different levels of experience, as we can split groups up and ride at two or even three different paces, depending on what the riders are after. The horses aren’t required to stay nose-to-tail on the trails, and you’re encouraged to spread out and explore the beautiful landscape that we ride through. The horses don’t have a preset “when we get to that tree, we trot for 30metres then drop back to a walk” automation, they’re listening to what their rider asks them to do, instead of habit that’s been drilled into them a hundred times.

We also offer the largest range of horse rides in Australia, making sure we cater for everyone; 1hr rides for families, 2hr rides for beginners, Half Day rides for confident beginner/moderate/experienced riders and Full Day rides for those who are looking for a bigger adventure. We also hold an experienced rider’s only ride once per month, which is a fast paced, lots of trotting and cantering 2hr ride for those who are looking for a good old fashioned hoot! We will also soon be offering a 4hr option of these experienced rides as well.

And just incase you’re not already convinced, our staff are super friendly. I know everyone claims this…but our staff are incredibly passionate about the horses and genuinely interested in getting to know the people who join us on our rides.
