Held over 6,000 acres, this event is going to be HUGE!
On Easter Sunday this year (5th April, 2026) our much-loved Easter Hunt is back – but we’re mixing things up this year! Instead of the traditional egg hunt, we’re turning the property into one big treasure hunt where you’ll search for hidden tokens and swap them for some amazing prizes, including some big bonus prizes! With different hunt levels for little kids and big kids, it’s a fun challenge that the whole family can get involved in.
The best part—100% of the proceeds collected from the Easter Hunt goes to Charity, Yay!
HOW DOES THE HUNT WORK?
Hidden tokens are scattered in the search areas, which are spread out over our massive 6,000 acre farm. On Easter Sunday, come to the office to collect your map and instructions, go hunting for tokens, then bring your tokens back to the office to swap for a prize. There are different hunt levels to make it fun and fair for everyone, with a mini-hunt area for the little kiddies (0-3).
Things to know:
- Each child can collect a maximum of 2x tokens.
- Each token can be swapped for one prize from the prize table.
- Kids must be supervised by an adult at all times during the hunt.
- The hunt starts at 8am, but a second wave of locations is released at midday (in the unlikely event you don’t find any in the first round)
- There are plenty of tokens and prizes for everyone, but prizes are first in, best dressed.
We recommend that you book online prior to arrival so you can kick back and enjoy your weekend without needing to rush around and get your kiddos signed up at the last minute.
Bring your walking shoes, your best spotting skills, and your sense of adventure!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We simply ask for a donation to one of the charities we’ve selected to participate. Dig deep, and help us support the charities that are close to our hearts.
We will have two collection tins, one for Red Nose Australia (raising awareness for infant loss) and another for Rural Aid Australia (offering support to farmers through the tough times). Bookings are appreciated and can be made online to save rummaging around on Easter morning or can be made at the gate. Once booked online, you’ll simply need to get names checked off in the morning, then get ready to hunt!

HOW MUCH DOES THE CHARITY GET OF MY DONATION?
Every single penny. We’re footing the bill for the Easter Hunt; we won’t deduct any running costs or fees or anything silly like that. Please note donations are non-refundable once processed.
WHAT DOES CHAPMAN VALLEY GET OUT OF IT?
Warm gooey feelings as we see the donations rolling through to our favorite charities. Seriously though, we take nothing out of your donation for running the event.
HOW DO I GET A RECEIPT?
You’ll be donating directly to the charities, so you’ll receive a receipt from them at the time of your donation. Don’t forget to email us the screenshot of the receipt.
Why these Charities?
Both of these charities are close to the Chapman family’s heart and we appreciate your help raising funds for them to continue their excellent work.
Rural Aid Australia has helped us out a lot over the years. Through the drought they gave us VISA gift vouchers to put towards anything that we needed help with. They were used for buying hay for the cattle & horses, paying fuel bills, putting food on the table. Then through the bushfires, they came again. And the floods … 2021 AND 2022. Right now they’re working hard to assist farmers after Cyclone Alfred. They’re always there helping out, offering support to anyone who needs it.
On Boxing Day 2017, close friends of ours awoke to find that their beautiful son Leo had unexpectedly passed away during the night. A perfectly happy, healthy boy was taken far too soon. Red Nose helps to offer support to grieving families after the loss of an infant, and fund research to find the cause for these terrible and unexpected losses.
So, whether you’re looking for a simple way to celebrate the Easter holiday with your family or looking for an excuse to dress up your kiddies with fluffy bunny ears or pastel tutus, you’ve come to the right place! Chapman Valley has lots of outdoor activities for both the young and young at heart!
So don’t keep the Easter Bunny waiting, hop on over and join the fun.
