Due to popular demand, we’ve decided to offer our extremely popular Cattle Muster as a 1 Day Event – and we’re inviting you along for the ride!

Ride out into our 8,000 acre property in search of the Cattle – and help us bring the cows home! You’ll be assigned your own horse to care for and ride during the muster. This includes catching, grooming and saddling at the start and the end of the day.

Other details:

  • Weight limit – due to an unexpected reduction in our horsey family, we currently have a weight limit of 90kgs. If you’re over 90kgs and tall, or if you are an experienced rider, please feel free to contact us to discuss if we can accommodate you on your requested date.
  • The one-day Muster is suitable for beginners, however, it is a long day in the saddle so we recommend trying out 2 or 4-hour rides prior to participating. The majority of the riding will be at a walking pace to prevent distressing the cattle.
  • Toilets and showers at base camp.
  • Riders must wear a helmet (we supply the helmets, or you can bring your own if it meets our Accepted Helmet Policy)
  • For non-BYO Horse: Riders must be aged 15 years or older. Remember, it’s a long day in the saddle!
  • It’s estimated that you’ll ride for 4-6 hours per day, but this will vary depending on the location of the cattle on the day
  • No phone reception! Unplug!
  • For safety reasons, visitors aren’t permitted in the cattle yards during drafting but are welcome to watch
  • Make a weekend out of it, camping under the stars available!
  • BYO Horse: This is a special event that we will be running for those who have their own horse and would like to bring them on a cattle muster. Please note our muster events include riding one of our horses unless otherwise specified as “BYO Horse”. Outside horses are not permitted to join in on our standard cattle muster events.
